Foals of 2019

We have a relatively busy year, with 3 foals already on the ground and 1 more coming shortly.

First up: Alamet x Sephard Shael – Metallic Buckskin Colt, born March 17th.

Shephard Shael on top, Alamet (as a 2 year old) on bottom.
All Legs!
Alamet and Rory (he was born on St. Paddy’s Day) 1 day old.
About 2 weeks old, outside, enjoying the grass.
Rory, 1 month old.

Rory is for sale and sells with both ATAA and VNIIK registration done – I haven’t figured out a ‘real’ name yet, so if you have a specific one you’d like, buy him now and that can be his official name! He is stallion quality, but would also make a fantastic competition gelding (don’t tell him though)

Second: Nadiyat x Sephard Shael, dark bay filly, born March 23rd

Pippi (for Pippi Long Legs) just finding the milk bar.
Pippi, about 2 weeks old
Mares and Foals out together. I think Rory would really like a friend.
Pippi, about 2 months old.

And third: Gerald x Aishet – bay filly born May 31st

Azara (name picked out by one of our young boarders), first time up.
Azara and Aya 4 days old
Azara, 6 days old

Now we’re waiting for Merdjen (who is also bred to Gerald) to foal. I expect she will within the next 10 days, most likely less. Her due date is June 15th, so we’ll see what she thinks.

We’ve already bred Alamet and Gala to Salam, via frozen semen, we’ll see if they took next week. Nadiyat has been bred to Wepaly Gulki, via frozen semen, Astra (client mare) is being bred to Gerald this week and Aya will be bred to Metman in a bit. Once Merdjen foals, as long as everything is fine, she will be bred to Wepaly also. Next year could have LOTS of foals here!

Good thing I really like the babies.
