Adventure!

It’s been a busy week already and it’s only Wednesday!  The tree guys finished up taking down lots of trees (note to self, get those alders while they are tiny, don’t wait 28 years) and I can’t say enough good things about Haskins Tree Service.  I have a bunch of photos on my phone, but the email isn’t working on it, so will need to figure out how to get them off.  If you need tree work, call Brock Haskins at (425) 677-5573 brockhaskins@yahoo.com www.haskinstreecare.com .

So, that wasn’t the adventure part!  George had to be delivered to Pilchuck Vet Hospital for his ‘brain’ surgery (castration).  As I don’t believe in back tracking or wasting a trip, Monica and I loaded up Galen, Ari and George and headed out.  We dropped George off at Pilchuck, where he was so good!  Walked right through all the scary stuff (touching me to ask if it was all good), hopped on the scale (618 lbs) and walked into the barn and stall.  He was exploring the thick bed of shavings as we left.

Then, Monica and I headed to Lord Hill for my first trail ride in over a year!  One thing after another, (mostly my ‘soundness’ issues) so this has been a long time coming.  Galen and Ari were very pleased to be out, especially Galen, who had quite the spring in his step heading out from the trailer.  We power walked (no trotting until both Galen and I are a bit fitter) for about 45 minutes, with many happy snorts from Galen.  (ok, and from me too).  Ari was happy too, although maybe not as happy as Galen.  I took some very interesting photos (mostly because Galen didn’t want to stop or stand still, he wanted to explore!!!)

Monica took some much better photos, as Ari was being a good tripod, but I can’t figure out how to get them off my phone.  Zach! (my son usually is my tech go to).

It was so lovely, I am still glowing today!
